LPG Prices Increased by ₹29 per Cylinder Across India

A welcome and important news for millions of families, domestic LPG prices have been raised by ₹29 per cylinder, from 7th June. The cost of 14.2 kg LPG cylinder is now ₹942 in Delhi, which was the second hike in the past three months. The increase is ahead of global energy price increases and continued tensions in West Asia which have been weighing on commodity prices.

This price revision comes on the heels of an earlier increase in petrol prices, prompting discussion over this price adjustment due to the direct impact on household budgets.
