Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, 28 year old B.Sc final year student from Bhojpur district in Bihar is not just another name in headlines. His death in a controversial police encounter has shocked many across the country. While the police have defended their actions, his family has strongly disputed the official version. The seriousness of the case is reflected in the Bihar government's decision to order a judicial inquiry after questions were raised about the operation.

If someone is guilty, the law should decide-not bullets. If the police acted correctly, an independent investigation will prove it. But if mistakes were made, accountability is equally necessary. Trust in our institutions depends on the truth, not on assumptions.

What worries me the most is how quickly social media turns every tragedy into a political or caste debate. Before facts are established, people choose sides. Instead of demanding the truth, many are busy defending their own narratives.

As India's youth, we should stand for constitutional values, due process, and equal justice for everyone. Today's issue may be about Bharat Bhushan Tiwari, but tomorrow it could be about someone else.

Justice is not about supporting one person or one institution. It is about ensuring that every citizen's life is protected by the rule of law.
