CJP Protest Continues as Abhijeet Dipke Takes Charge After Sonam Wangchuk's Hospitalisation

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest has entered a new phase after activist Sonam Wangchuk was shifted to Safdarjung Hospital following a decline in his health during his indefinite hunger strike.

In response, CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke has begun his own indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar, stating that the movement will continue until the government's demands are addressed. Dipke accused authorities of attempting to weaken the peaceful protest by removing Wangchuk from the protest site.

Despite Wangchuk's hospitalisation, CJP has confirmed that its planned Parliament march on 20 July will proceed as scheduled. The organisation has appealed to students, youth, and supporters across the country to participate in the demonstration.
