107 viewsThe Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has appointed Air Marshal (Retd) Jitendra Mishra as the first full-time Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Trust on September 2, 2026.
Jitendra Mishra is a former senior officer of the Indian Air Force and served as the Chief of the Western Air Command. He has nearly four decades of experience in the armed forces and has held several important leadership and operational positions. His experience in administration, coordination and organisational management is expected to help in managing the growing operations of the temple complex.
The creation of a full-time CEO position is an important step in strengthening the administrative structure of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust. The CEO will be responsible for overseeing various administrative and operational activities associated with the temple and its expanding facilities.
The appointment comes as the Ram Mandir complex continues to develop into a major religious and cultural destination. With a large number of devotees visiting Ayodhya, efficient management, facilities, security coordination and transparent administration will be among the key responsibilities of the new CEO.
